Sun-drenched Sangiovese
Sooner or later, every wine lover finds themselves infatuated with Tuscany. The medieval towns full of elegant Renaissance palaces, rolling sun-drenched hills lined with towering cypress trees, countless vineyards and a thriving winemaking industry adored by the globe.
Standing high atop a hill in southern Tuscany not too far from Siena, Montepulciano is a rare beauty highly recommended to visit if given the chance. The city, full of ancient churches, charming squares and hidden corners, showcases vast panoramas of the marvelous Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana valleys that surround it.
One of our own producers, Boscarelli, has become a noteworthy name when it comes to reliable, high-quality Tuscan wine. Founded in 1962 by Egidio Corradi, a native of Montepulciano who made his career in Milan and Genoa as an international broker. His daughter, Paola De Ferrari Corradi, and sons, Luca and Nicolò De Ferrari oversee the winemaking and vineyard management, farming 59 acres of vineyards located mainly in the revered Cervognano zone of Montepulciano.
